Can Healthcare workers apply for ILR?

Healthcare workers can apply for an Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) in the UK via the UK Health and Care Worker visa route. Healthcare workers can qualify for an ILR after completing five years of residency in the country. The total time spent in the UK can also be calculated using a combination of other UK work visas. For example, suppose you have lived in the UK for 5 years with two different kinds of qualifying work visas.

The total duration spent in the country with both visas combined can be considered towards the ILR residency requirement.  With an ILR status, Health and Care visa holders can live and work freely in the UK indefinitely.
