You can either have your de facto partner or dependent children included in your Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa application, or they can also apply separately after your visa is approved. To have your partner or dependent children apply separately, they can apply through the Subsequent Entrant visa under the 494 visa. The Subsequent entrant visa allows the family of 494 visa holders to come and live with them in Australia for the duration of the primary visa holder’s validity. Spouses, de facto partners, and dependent children can apply for the Subsequent entrant visa.
