Yes, you can travel to Europe from the UK with an Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), provided you do not exceed the time spent outside the UK. However, ILR holders who are EU/EEA nationals can freely travel within the EU and EEA regions without a visa. You can also travel to Europe with an ILR if you apply for the EU Settlement Scheme and acquire the settled status. With the settled status, you do not need to fulfill the 5-year residency period, which allows you to stay outside the UK for more than 5 years. You can spend more than 5 years outside the UK, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands without losing the settled status. Swiss nationals can stay in the UK for 4 years outside the UK without losing their settled status.
