The immigration points that are given to the individuals depends on their educational qualification. Australian authorities provide maximum points given to a Doctorate degree from an Australian university or a doctorate degree from any university that is outside the country but is recognized by the government.

  • Enhance your English language skills by re-taking the language proficiency test before the application date, so that it will help you fetch a maximum of 20 points.
  • Get highly valued work experience within the nominated skilled occupation or similar to this. A minimum of an extra year of work experience can help you earn an additional 5 points. A maximum of 20 points are awarded to an employee with experience.
  • Foreign students who study in Australia which is associated with the Australian skilled occupation list can apply for PSWP (Post-study work program). Steps to apply for Australia PR

Following are the simple steps to apply for Australian PR.

  1. Check if you are eligible for a specified pathway or program (Subclass 189/Subclass 190/Subclass 491) and ensure that you have met the mandatory criteria.
  2. Appear for valid English proficiency tests like IELTS, PTE, and TOEFL from an authorized body.
  3. Complete the skill verification of educational documents & work certificates by an accredited institution as per Australian standards.
  4. Create and submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) along with the mandatory documents and Statement of purpose (SOP) on the ‘SkillSelect’ Australian PR platform.
