How many types of work passes are there in Singapore?
The employer in Singapore will apply online for a Singapore work visa on behalf of the qualifying foreign worker.
Below is the step-by-step Singapore work visa process:
Step 1: The Employment agent (EA) or the employer will apply online for the suitable work visa type
Step 2: Employer acquires an In-Principle Approval (IPA) within 1-3 weeks
Step 3: The foreign national can now fly to Singapore within 6 months of receiving an IPA (60 days for those who applied for an S pass)
Step 4: Foreign employees can now apply for a Singapore work pass
Step 5: Get an official work pass approval letter
Step 6: Complete the further registration process at the Employment Pass Services Centre (EPSC) and get a Singapore work permit
