Is 350 points a good score for Canada PR?

You can obtain Canada PR with 350 points if you are applying via the Provincial Nominee Program. Canada offers various pathways to get Canada PR. Depending on your CRS score, you can either for Canada Express Entry or Canada PNP) Express. The cut-off scores for the Express Entry draw are usually around 500-800 points, as noticed in recent Express Entry draws held in 2025. However, PNP draws conducted by certain Canadian provinces have low CRS requirements. Candidates with low CRS scores can apply via these PNPs to acquire Canada PR.

What is Canada PNP? 

Each Canadian province has the authority to nominate candidates for Canada PR via the Canada Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Candidates receive provincial nominations depending on the specific skills that are in demand in that province. 

While certain provinces like Quebec prefer candidates with French language proficiency, other provinces have a higher demand for different skills. Candidates meeting the skills requirement can get a provincial nomination even with low CRS scores.

You can apply for Canada PNP in two ways listed below:

Canada PNP application via Express Entry: You can apply for Canada PNP via the Express Entry linked streams offered by certain Canadian provinces. 

Canada PNP application directly to a province: If you want to apply for a specific province, you can create a profile on the official PNP site of that province and wait to receive a nomination. 

Candidates receiving a provincial nomination can get 600 additional points for their Express Entry profile, thereby increasing their chances of acquiring an invitation for Canada PR.
