According to the recent trend of setting high CRS score requirements for Canada PR, you would require more than 450 points to qualify for an Express Entry draw. The minimum CRS scores for the recent Express Entry draws conducted in 2025 ranged between 521 and 802 points, indicating a high CRS score requirement to qualify for Canada PR. The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) holds regular Express Entry draws and decides the CRS score requirement for each draw. However, certain PNP draws have low CRS score requirements, which allows you to get Canada PR.

How to score higher for Canada PR?

Obtaining a Canada PR totally depends upon your score under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Points Calculator. The maximum score for the Canada Express Entry draw is 1200 points, and the IRCC decides the minimum score requirement for each draw. The average CRS cut-offs have ranged from 480-510 points in 2024. The IRCC has conducted five Express Entry draws in 2025, and the lowest CRS Score requirement ranged between 521 and 802 points. 

The following are the ways to improve your CRS score for Canada PR:
