Myth – 1 - Canada is a very cold country:
Fact - Canada is known for its cold winters. This doesn’t mean that the climate is the same for the rest of the year. There are 4 different seasons which Canada experiences. Most of the northern part of Canada is cold but the southern part of Canada (where the most population lives) isn’t that cold. Temperatures can go up to an average of 28 to 30 degrees Celsius. Saskatchewan, in fact, experiences a temperature as high as 40 degrees Celsius. If you are from India, you might experience fairly high cold during winters but the other seasons are quite pleasant.
Myth – 2 – No place to go except Vancouver and Toronto:
Fact - Though Vancouver and Toronto are the most popular cities amongst international students, every other place is also a home for top educational institutions of the world. Windsor is called the student city of the country which has 5 world-class Universities offering education to thousands of students every year.
Myth – 3 – Getting a Canadian Visa is very difficult:
Fact – This is not true at all. The fact is that Canada is the nation that is issuing the largest number of Visas to foreigners. If you are planning to study abroad, work and settle overseas, now is the time to choose Canada. In other words, presently, it is one of the easiest countries to get a visa for.
