Several 1000s of Indian students apply for the US Study Visa every year. This is for studying in the US Universities for college-level education. Some of the US Colleges are ranked among the top global Universities.
Applicants of US Study Visa will need to complete Form DS-160 prior to the Visa interview. After that they need to print the confirmation page having the barcode on a laser printer. They must then go to an accredited HDFC bank for paying the fee for Visa application. The receipt from the payment must be saved, as quoted by the Times of India.
It must also be ensured by the applicants that they possess the form I- 120. This is a form offered by the US Colleges affirming their enrollment. The I-901 fee must be paid online through the website of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The payment receipt must be saved.
Finally, the appointment for the US Study Visa must be fixed. You must ensure that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your interview schedule. The following documents must be brought to the interview:
