The parents who are either Australia Citizens or Australia Permanent Residents can apply for their children’s Australia PR through two pathways:

• Subclass 101 - Offshore Visa
• Subclass 802 - Onshore Visa

The parents can apply for these visas for their biological, adopted, or stepchildren.  

 

Subclass 101 Visa allows parents who are already Australian citizens or PRs to apply for their children’s Australia Visa from their home country, while Subclass 802 visa allows parents to apply for Australia PR for their kids from within Australia.

Eligibility for Child Visa

To apply for a Child Visa, the eligibility criteria are as follows:

• The child is either below 18 or is a full-time student between 18 and 25.
• The child must be either a biological or adopted or a stepchild.
• The child must not have a partner
• The child must meet the health requirements.
• If the child is above 16, they must meet character requirements.

• Documents related to Sponsorship
• Proof of education - In case the child is a full-time student
