You are allowed to choose to take any language proficiency tests like PTE, IELTS, and TOEFL. PTE, or Pearson Test of English Academic, is a computer-based test that examines a candidate’s ability of reading, speaking, writing, and listening skills in English. However, you need to take the PTE academic exam and not the PTE core to apply for Australia PR. Applicants will receive the results within 48 hours of taking the exam. The duration of the test is 2 hours. The fee of the PTE academic for Australia PR is AUD 445.
