On June 19, Manitoba held its Expression of Interest [EOI] Draw #92 under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program [MPNP].
The previous draw was held by the MPNP on June 4, inviting 124.
In the latest draw, along with inviting candidates that were already in Canada, Manitoba has also issued invitations to immigration candidates that were currently overseas.
A total of 181 Letters of Advice to Apply [LAAs] were issued by the MPNP in the draw on June 19, 2020, under the 3 Canada immigration pathways of – Skilled Workers in Manitoba [111], Skilled Workers Overseas [58], and International Education Stream [12]. Of these, 10 had their profiles in the federal Express Entry system.
The LAAs invite Canada immigration candidates to apply for being provincially nominated for a Canada permanent resident visa.
With this latest draw, Manitoba has issued 2,335 LAAs so far this year.
To be eligible for receiving an LAA through the MPNP’s Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas, the immigration candidates would be required to register an Expression of Interest [EOI] with the MPNP.
Once their EOI profile has been successfully created, an EOI score out of a total of 1,000 is allotted. The MPNP EOI score is based on various human capital characteristics such as education, work experience, English or French language skills, connections to Manitoba, and other factors.
