Alberta has made an announcement about a new Express Entry draw which is related to Alberta Advantage Immigration Program. The draw was announced on April 14, and the results have been announced on April 27.

The draw has invited 250 candidates, and the minimum score of the draw is 356. The score was 31 points higher than the previous draw. The important requirement for the Alberta Express Entry is that immigrants should be willing to live and work in Alberta to support the economic and labor needs of the province.

In 2021, Alberta reached the nomination limit of 6,250, but there is no announcement for 2022. Alberta also has 775 applications for the Alberta Opportunity Stream and 775 applications for Expression of Interest. All these applications are available in the Alberta Express Entry pool.
