275th Canada Express Entry Draw issued 1,325 ITAs with a CRS score 542

Highlights of the latest Express Entry Draw

• The latest PNP Draws was held on December 18, 2023
• IRCC issued 1325 invitations to candidates in all programs
• The minimum CRS score required by candidates to be eligible for an invitation to apply is 542.
• Candidates will get additional points if the PNP nominates them
• This was an all-program draw

Details of recent Express Entry Draws

5,900 candidates received invitations on December 8, 2023, with a minimum CRS of 481 in a category-based selection draw for candidates in STEM occupations. One more category-based draw was held on December 7th for individuals who have French language proficiency. IRCC invited 1,000 candidates from this Express Entry pool with a minimum CRS score of 470.

On December 6th, All-program draw was held with a minimum CRS of 561. It was the first draw to take place in December.

Category-based selection

IRCC invited candidates who have a specific, in-demand attribute as the immigration minister thinks this will improve Canada’s workforce and economy. There are 6 categories; among them, one will target Express Entry candidates, and the remaining 5 are candidates who have work experience in the following sectors.

• Healthcare;
• STEM professions;
• Trades;
• Transport; and
• Agriculture and agri-food

IRCC will not announce a date for the next Express Entry draw. Hence, it is not possible to guess the date of the next Express Entry Draw.
