Alberta Express Entry has become the most prominent choice for aspirants who have a CRS score as low as 300.
On October 12, 2021, Alberta held a PNP draw and invited 293 candidates having a CRS score as low as 300 under Alberta Express Entry Stream.
This new Alberta PNP draw is the first one in October. In September, Alberta held four draws under the Alberta Express Entry stream, each with minimum score requirements of 300. A total of 1,610 invitations were issued in all these four draws in the last month alone.
Till date Alberta has now invited 5,910 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination from January 2021. Alberta, on a total, issued 6,250 nomination certificates in 2021.

Other Factors
IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) held's Express Entry draws on a regular basis and invites the highest-scoring candidates to apply for permanent residency.
Candidates with lower scores can also opt for provincial nomination to immigrate to Canada rather than the Express Entry system.
The provincial nominees automatically get 600 additional points to their overall score. While the lowest scoring applicants in the new Alberta draw receive the nomination, their new CRS scores will be 900, which is more than enough to invite a subsequent Express Entry draw.
