Australia is recruiting 5,000 new migrants under the Global Talent Visa

• Food and agricultural business

• Major infrastructure and urban development

David Coleman, Immigration Minister, said that Australia is targeting the most highly skilled immigrants in the world through the Global Talent Visa. Eligible candidates must attract an annual salary of at least or above AUD 148,700. They must also be endorsed by a nominator in the same domain. Eligible candidates must also lodge an Expression of Interest with the Dept. of Home Affairs. Nominators must be:

• An eligible Australian Permanent Resident or citizen
• An eligible New Zealand citizen
• An Australian organization
