Ireland Citizenships issued in 2025

Recent statistical data shows that Ireland issued around 5000 citizenship applications in February 2025 alone. The foreign nationals were welcomed via citizenship ceremonies held on February 12 and February 14, 2025, respectively.

The country has welcomed nearly 200,000 naturalized citizens since 2011. Data reports that the majority of foreign nationals who received Irish citizenship were Indians, Brazilians, and British nationals.

According to recent reports by RTE News, Indian citizens make up the majority of Irish citizenship beneficiaries. The table below lists the top ten nationalities receiving Irish citizenship over the years:
