In 2023, a large number of people expressed their happiness with the quality of life and healthcare facilities provided by the Canadian government. All data, such as health, well-being, impacts of COVID-19, emergency responses, quality of life, virtual health care, and trust. There are no remarkable differences between the results of Women and Men. People aged 65 and more had more satisfaction compared to the other age group.
People who reported having mental health were about 75% more than twice as likely to have a strong sense of happiness with the quality of life and healthcare facilities compared with those who reported having fair or poor mental health, about 34%. Similar results were noticed in terms of the level of trust in others and the media in relation to mental health and life satisfaction.
Also, those who reported a high level of trust in the quality of life and healthcare facilities provided by the Canadian government were more than four times more likely to have a high level of trust in others, around 40%, than those who reported a lower level of satisfaction, about 9%. Similarly, those who showed a high level of trust in others, about 23%, were more likely to trust information and news from the media than those who expressed a lower level of trust in others, about 13%.
