Results of two consecutively held Alberta Express Entry draws announced.
In the 17th July draw, Alberta issued 251 invites to Express Entry candidates with CRS scores starting at 400 points. The 24th July draw saw 220 invites to candidates with CRS as low as 303.
The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) issued the invites under the Alberta Express Entry Stream.
The first Alberta Express Entry Stream draw was held over a year ago. Since then, 26 draws have happened issuing 5,063 invites or Notifications of Interest.
To be considered under the Alberta Express Entry Stream, you must create an online Express Entry profile.
You do not need to have a job offer from Ontario to be considered under the Alberta EE Stream. Any prior work experience in Alberta is also not required.
Alberta does not have a list of eligible occupations but you must have experience in an occupation that contributes to Alberta’s economic growth.
Eligible applicants under the Alberta Express Entry Stream must have a minimum CRS score of 300, as per CIC News.

Alberta invites candidates in the Express Entry pool with CRS scores as low as 300. The lowest cut-off score in the Federal Express Entry Program in 2019 has been 438.
