Work hours to be capped for international students in Australia from June 2023
The agreement was signed during the bilateral meeting held in New Delhi on March 2, 2023, between Dharmendra Pradhan and Jason Clare, the Education Ministers of India and Australia, respectively. They agreed to set up a joint task force for the mutual recognition of skills and qualifications.
A task force was established comprising senior officials of skill ministry regulators and education of India and Australia. It has set an extensive mechanism covering the education and skill qualifications of both countries to facilitate the mobility of young individuals for employment and education.
The countries agreed to reinforce their links in the sector of education and skill development.
