UK-India Young Professionals Scheme Ballot 2025

The UK government has recently announced that the ballot for the UK-India Young Professionals Scheme (YPS) 2025 will be open from February 18, 2025, at 02:30 PM IST. The visa scheme allows eligible Indians under the age group of 18-30 years to migrate to the UK for studies, work, or travel around the country.

The ballot is scheduled to close on February 20, 2025, at 02:30 PM IST, and 3000 slots have been reserved for young Indian professionals. There is no fee requirement to enter the ballot. Candidates qualifying for the scheme will be chosen randomly.

Eligibility Requirements for UK-India Young Professionals Scheme

Candidates would be eligible for the UK-India Young Professionals Scheme if they meet the following requirements:

• Must be an Indian national aged between 18 and 30 years
• Must be aged above 18 years at the time of application
• Must have completed a bachelor’s degree or above
• Must have a minimum savings worth £2,530 or above
• Must not have any children who are financially dependent on the candidate

Note: Candidates selected for the YPS must return to India after completing 2 years in the UK.
