In a latest British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program [BC PNP] draw held on September 29 – the largest draw so far in 2020 – BC issued 450 invitations to apply for provincial nomination through the BC PNP.
Those invited, if successful in securing a BC PNP provincial nomination, can apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada [IRCC] for Canadian permanent residence.
The previous BC PNP draw, a Tech Pilot draw, was held on September 22, 2020.
The earlier September 15 BC PNP was also a large draw, inviting 407 to apply for provincial nomination.
In the latest draw, invitations were issued in 5 BC PNP immigration pathways.

Note.- As per the BC PNP, these occupations were excluded from the draw due to the “impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on BC businesses”.
While the EEBC category of the BC PNP is aligned with the federal Express Entry system, the SI category is for skilled and semi-skilled workers in occupations in high demand in BC.
