British Columbia invites 238 applicants in the latest draw

In the latest invitation round held on 6^th August, British Columbia in Canada invited 238 applicants. These invitations were issued under the Skilled Immigration (SI) and the Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) streams.

 Invitations were issued under the following categories:

1. International Graduate
2. Skilled Worker
3. Entry Level & Semi-Skilled Worker

The cut-off score for this draw ranged between 80 and 105 points.

Applications for the British Columbia PNP categories are managed under the BC SIRS (Skilled Immigration Registration System). To apply under the BC PNP, you will first need to create an account. You will need to enter details like your age, education, work experience, language proficiency, etc. Based on these parameters you will be assigned a score based on the BC points-grid.

Candidates who score the highest are then invited in periodic draws conducted by the BC PNP, as per CIC News.

To apply under the categories managed by the BC SIRS, it is mandatory to have a job offer from the province.

Invited candidates get an additional 600 points on their CRS Score in the Federal Express Entry Pool. The extra points get these candidates the ITA to apply for a Canadian Permanent Residence.
