The province of British Columbia in Canada has held another round of invitations under the Provincial Nominee Program [PNP].

In the latest British Columbia PNP draw held on May 25, 2021, BC PNP has invited a total of 370 Canada immigration hopefuls to apply for their nomination for Canadian permanent residence.

This is the fourth BC PNP round of invitations to be held in May 2021. The previous BC PNP draw was held on May 18, 2021. Generally, BC PNP draws are held on a weekly basis.

An Overview of May 25 BC PNP round of invitations

EEBC – International Graduate 90
SI – Skilled Worker 94
SI – International Graduate 90
SI – Entry Level and Semi-Skilled 76

Note. – By NOC is implied the National Occupational Classification matrix. NOC 0621: Retail and wholesale trade managers, NOC 0631: Restaurant and food service managers. By the minimum score in a BC PNP draw is implied the points score allotted to a candidate as per an assessment on the Skills Immigration Registration System [SIRS], following successful registration with the BC PNP Online. In the latest British Columbia draw held on May 25, 2021, invitations issued went out to candidates under the categories of Express Entry BC [EEBC] and Skills Immigration [SI].

The BC PNP’s EEBC category is linked with the federal Express Entry system managed through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada [IRCC]. The SI category, on the other hand, runs independently.

An IRCC Express Entry candidate nominated by the BC PNP – through the EEBC category – is assured an ITA by IRCC in the next federal draw to be held.

A PNP nomination, through any of the Express Entry linked PNP streams, is allotted 600 CRS points. CRS is for Comprehensive Ranking System that determines as to who is issued an ITA.

As it is the highest-ranked Express Entry profiles that are issued ITAs by IRCC, a PNP nomination fetching 600 CRS points, guarantees that individual being invited to apply for Canada PR.

With the latest round of invitations, British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program has issued a total of 4,725 invitations so far in 2021.
