Canada issued 545 invitations through Express Entry

Canada has sent invitations to 545 candidates on May 11. These candidates can apply for Canada permanent residence in the country. The candidates who are invited in this Express Entry draw have received nominations from a Provincial Nomination Program.

  • 545 Candidates have been invited through Express Entry program
  • The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score is 753
  • 829 candidates invited in the previous draw and the minimum CRS score was 772.

Other information

IRCC has provided figures about April 2022. It has told that in April, the Express Entry backlog has been reduced by more than half. The permanent residence status has been doubled in the first quarter of 2022. The figure of permanent residence from January 1, 2022 to March 31, 2022 has gone up to 156,000. IRCC has made announcement that by 2024, 110,000 candidates will be invited per year.
