Canada SINP - Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program has offered 426 invitations for PR Visa to candidates in the draw held on 6th June. This was for immigration applicants in its Occupation In-Demand and Express Entry sub-categories.
342 invitations were offered by Saskatchewan to candidates in its Occupation In-Demand sub-category. Meanwhile, candidates in Express Entry sub-category received 84 invitations.
Aspiring immigration applicants are required to first file an Expression of Interest –EOI with the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program. This is for being considered for an invitation to apply for Canada PR Visa through any of these sub-categories.
Canada SINP permits the Saskatchewan province to select qualified overseas workers for Canada PR Visa. This is through several categories that are customized for its diverse labour market and economic needs.
The Express Entry sub-category of Canada SINP is linked with the Federal Express Entry system. It is the chief source of skilled workers from overseas for Canada, as quoted by the CIC News.
Candidates in Express Entry who get a nomination from a Province are offered 600 additional points towards their score in Comprehensive Ranking System. This effectively ensures an ITA for Canada PR in the subsequent Express Entry Draw.
Both the Occupation In-Demand and Express Entry sub-categories mandate work experience in any one of the nineteen occupations. These are listed as in-demand in the Saskatchewan province. The candidates have to also fulfil other criteria specified by Canada SINP
Candidates in Express Entry who want to be invited through the Express Entry sub-category of SINP must first file a separate EOI with SINP.
The EOI had various details about the candidate like proficiency in English or French, work experience, education, etc. They are then offered a score out of Hundred points based on the details provided.
The highest scoring candidates are offered Canada PR Visa invites through nomination from the province through regular draws. This is both in the Occupation In-Demand and Express Entry sub-categories.
The cut-off score for both the streams in the 6th June draw was 75. This was a decrease of 7 points from the previous draw held on 15th May.
SINP has offered invitations to 898 candidates in Express Entry pool so far in 2019. It has also invited 1, 196 candidates in Occupation In-Demand sub-category.
