Canada to open online citizenship applications for multiple adults

Applying Canada online citizenship

Canada has made an announcement that in the near future, multiple adults will be allowed to apply for online citizenship. In the current scenario, only single adults are allowed to apply. The multiple adults will be allowed to apply for citizenship in fall 2022 and migrate to Canada.

Eligibility criteria

People having the age of 18 and above will be allowed to send the applications along with their families. IRCC has also announced that e-application will be expanded so that minors will also be able to apply along with their families.

IRCC has stated that the representatives were able to prepare only online applications, but they were not able to submit them on behalf of their clients. After the expansion of the application, the representatives will be able to communicate with IRCC before and after the submission of the applications.

The screening questions will also be updated so that clients can submit their applications online. After the expansion of the applications for minors and adults, the next step of IRCC will be the introduction of additional functionalities to help the representatives.
