The European Union eases migration policies for foreign workers to work & live in Europe. The EU Parliament supports altering regulations for a Single Permit to reduce labor shortages and promote legal migration. Individuals can now work and live within the EU with a Single Permit.

The new update introduces several changes to Single Permit that are listed below:
The European Union will process the Single Permit applications within a 90-day timeframe, reducing from the current timeframe of the 120-day waiting period. The 30-day extension can be granted for complicated cases. Also, Indian nationals with existing residence permits can apply for a Single Permit without returning back to their home country for renewing it.
Foreign nationals with a Single Permit can now change their employer, work sector, and occupation through a simple notification process by the employer.
The European Union offers exceptional protection for unemployed foreign nationals with a single permit. A single permit holder can stay three months to find different employment before their permits are withdrawn.
Single Permit allow foreign nationals to stay for two years and also grants an additional six months to secure employment and stay within Europe. Extensions of Single Permits are possible for those who have previously been exploited. Single Permit holders who are unemployed for long time must demonstrate self-sufficiency to avoid relying on social assistance.
