On April 13, IRCC has invited 787 candidates through Express Entry draw. The candidates who were invited got a nomination from a Provincial Nominee Program. The minimum CRS score for the candidates is 782. Previous Express Entry round of invitations If the candidates have not received the nomination, then the minimum score is 182. In the previous round, 919 candidates were invited, and the minimum score was 785. About Express Entry draw Canada has started Express Entry draw from January 1, 2015. The draw was introduced for the management of skilled worker applications under Federal Economic Programs. The following programs are included:
The target of invitations for 2022 is 411,000. It is very difficult to predict the CRS scores. The number of invitations was dropped for CEC since September 2021. And no draws were also available for Federal Skilled Worker Program since December 2020. There was no program specific draws, and anybody have the option to get an invitation through any program related to Express Entry. Because of restrictions due to COVID-19, Canada decided to focus on transitioning temporary residents to permanent residents. This strategy helped in reducing the number of Express Entry applications. The processing time was also increased due to the backlog.
