Canada has held its latest round of invitations under the Express Entry system.
On May 31, 2021, a total of 5,956 candidates – eligible for the Canadian Experience Class – received invitations from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada [IRCC].

This is the fifth Express Entry draw to be held in May. A total of 13,002 Invitations to Apply [ITAs] have been issued by IRCC in May 2021.
With a tie-breaking rule applied, candidates that received invitations in the latest IRCC Express Entry draw were those eligible for the CEC and with a minimum CRS 380 score, provided they had entered their profile in the pool before the date and time specified. The tie-breaking rule is only applicable to profiles with the minimum required CRS in that specific draw. Express Entry profiles created earlier are prioritized by IRCC over those created at a later point in time.
With the latest Express Entry draw, a total of 74,773 Canada immigration hopefuls have been invited by IRCC in the 20 federal draws held so far in 2021.
The Express Entry admissions target for 2021 is that of 108,500. |
