The second Express Entry Draw #287 of the week was held on February 29, 2024 and issued a total of 2,500 invitations to apply (ITAs) in a category based draw to eligible candidates who demonstrated strong French language proficiency. The minimum required score for this draw was 336.

Canada Express Entry eligibility

To be eligible for Express Entry, you are required to score at least 67 out of 100 points. The eligibility points calculator is determined by certain criteria:

• Age: Candidates between the ages of 18 to 35 will receive the highest score.
• Education: To gain points, educational qualifications of a candidate must match with Canada’s secondary education level.
• Work experience: Candidates with a minimum of one year of work experience will be awarded additional points.
• Language proficiency: Extra points will be awarded to those who demonstrate proficiency in the English language.
• Job offer: Candidates who have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada will receive an additional 10 points.

• Within the last ten years, you must have at least one year of experience in a skilled occupation,
• IELTS score of 6 in English or French, which is equivalent to a CLB score of 7,
