HCL announces the hiring of 1,000 tech professionals in the U.K.

Recently, HCL technologies [HCL] has announced the expansion of investment in the U.K.

A leading global technology company, HCL will be hiring 1,000 tech professionals in the U.K. for supporting its clients, in the U.K. as well as internationally.

HCL plans on hiring these professionals in the fields of –

• digital transformation,
• cloud,
• artificial intelligence, and
• cybersecurity

The announced hiring of technology professionals by HCL in the U.K. will be for their offices in Greater London, Manchester, and London.

Earlier, HCL launched a Digital Acceleration Centre in Mississauga, Canada.

With a U.K. presence since 1997, today HCL’s U.K. operation employs 3,500+ individuals across several locations, supporting more than 50 clients. For the 15th consecutive year, HCL was named as a Top Employer in the U.K. by the prestigious Top Employers Institute.

A virtual meeting was held between U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson and HCL’s Senior Corporate Vice President Asish Kumar Gupta along with CEO C. Vijayakumar.

This virtual meeting was part of the U.K. PM’s virtual tour towards creating stronger business ties between the U.K and India.

According to C. Vijayakumar, CEO, HCL Technologies, “The UK has played a key role in HCL’s growth and success journey for more than two decades. It is home to some of our most prestigious clients and is a hotbed of IT talent. By creating new local jobs in the region, we want to reaffirm our commitment to catalyzing innovation and building competitive digital talent pools in the region.”
