HCL launches Digital Acceleration Centre in Mississauga

HCL Technologies Ltd., a global technology leader, continues with its expansion and growth in Canada. Recently, HCL announced the opening of its Innovation centre focused on digital acceleration in Mississauga, Ontario.

With the latest expansion in Canada, HCL plans on hiring 2,000 employees in the next 3 years.

 

Both an important industrial centre as well as a residential suburb of Ontario, Mississauga was made a city in 1974.   Along with port facilities, Mississauga is also on major expressways and railway lines.   The city is also the site of Toronto Pearson International Airport, the busiest air terminal in Canada.  

 

As per the official Press Release, from the latest Global Delivery Centre [GDC], HCL aims on delivering “advanced technology solutions to its global client base” for assisting in their digital transformation journeys.

 

HCL will be providing next-gen services that include –

  • Cloud consulting and migration
  • Digital and analytical solutions
  • Application services
  • IT infrastructure
  • Cybersecurity

HCL continues to “significantly invest in Canada” for building “innovation and delivery capabilities”, strengthening its workforce in the process.

 

Located at 7125 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga, Ontario, HCL’s Mississauga GDC continues HCL’s 12 years of successful growth in Canada.   HCL’s first office in Canada opened in Toronto in 2009. The first GDC launched in New Brunswick in 2019.   Currently, HCL employs 1,100+ individuals in Canada.

 

With a seating capacity of 350, HCL’s Mississauga center will be one of the largest for HCL in Canada.
