*Know your eligibility to immigrate to Canada through Y-Axis Canada Immigration Points Calculator.
Are you ready for Saskatchewan? If yes, you are welcome to our introduction to Saskatchewan PNP and the options you have to immigrate to this Canadian province.
First things first, you have to understand the SINP (Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program). As you must be aware, every province in Canada has a system of provincial selection known as the PNP (Provincial Nominee Program). SINP is Saskatchewan PNP.
The PNP of a particular province maintains various immigration streams. They enable eligible and willing immigration candidates to get an opportunity to immigrate to Canada and settle in a particular province. This opportunity comes through provincial nomination which also brings the immigration candidate the advantage of being granted 600 CRS points. These points will push the ranking of the candidate’s profile in the Express Entry pool. That translates to assured chances of getting invited to apply for Canada PR (permanent residence).

The International Skilled Worker category is meant for skilled foreign workers wanting to live and work in Saskatchewan. Under the International Skilled Worker category, there are two immigration programs that potential immigrants can use. They are:
This sub-category is aligned with the federal Express Entry system. This means the candidates coming under this category to immigrate to Saskatchewan will already have a profile created in the Express Entry candidate pool.
When they want to immigrate to Saskatchewan, they register an EOI (Expression of Interest) with SINP. The SINP will look at the credentials of the candidate and decide whether that person is fit to be invited to the province via a provincial nomination.
It’s a base sub-category of immigration programs under SINP. This means that it isn’t aligned with the Express Entry at the federal level. Here, candidates who are qualified and experienced in occupations that are included in SINP’s in-demand occupations list are selected for PR nomination.
The best part about immigration through this sub-category is that both freshers (with a minimum experience of as low as six to 12 months) and other experienced persons can apply for immigration to Saskatchewan. |
