DI has also predicted that the number of migrants working in Denmark will only increase. Along with this, the rate of employment in Denmark, on the whole, will also increase.
The latest DI report has calculated that the new addition of Denmark jobs since 2013 is 190,000. There are ample signs that the rate of job creation will not slow down. Kent Damsgaard the Deputy Head of DI has said that this is an evidence of development and progress throughout the nation.
The expansion of jobs has been beneficial economically according to DI. However, it cautions that scarcity of workers may slow down the economic growth, as quoted by the CPH POST DK.
In order to cater to the shortage of skilled workers, Denmark has a system of Work Visa known as the Positive List scheme. For immigrants who possess a valid job offer from an employer in Denmark, it has the Pay List scheme.
There are several jobs in Demark that have a scarcity of skilled and qualified workers. Overseas immigrants can quickly obtain a Residence and Work Visa through the Positive List scheme. This is if they have skills in the scarce occupations in Denmark.
