Indians get the highest number of Canada PR in 2019

25% of all the Permanent Residency Visas granted by Canada in 2019 have gone to Indians.

Canada has issued 2,28,510 PR Visas from January to August 2019. Out of these Indians have got 57,185 Permanent Residency Visas which accounts for an impressive 25%.

Thus, India tops the list of nations to get the highest number of Canada PR in 2019.

On second place on the list of countries with the highest number of Canada PR is China. From the period of January to August, China has obtained 21,060 Canadian PR Visas which is less than half of India.

On third place is the Philippines with 19,185 Canada PR Visas between January and August 2019.

Nigeria came fourth with 8,420 Canada PR Visas between January and August this year.

With 7,375 PR Visas, the United States of America secures the fifth place.

Pakistan and Syria come sixth and seventh respectively with 7,305 and 6,790 PR Visas.

South Korea with 4,250 PR Visas comes eighth while Eritrea and Iran come 9^th and 10^th respectively. Eritrea obtained 4,180 Canada PR Visas while Iran got 4,100 PR Visas.

The second quarter of this year between April and June was the biggest quarter for India. 23,830 Canada PR Visas were issued to India in Q2 alone.
