Reports by the Federal Ministry of the Interior stated that Germany issued around 2,500 Opportunity Cards between June and October 2024. An average of 550 Opportunity Cards were issued each month.
Indians were the top beneficiaries who received the Germany Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte) in 2024, with around 780 visas. Applicants from China, Turkey, and Pakistan formed the other major immigrant groups to receive the Opportunity Card in 2024.
