Irish work permits issued in 2024

According to recent reports, the Irish authorities received around 42,910 work permit applications, out of which around 39,000 were granted in 2024. The Irish Department of Enterprise, Trade, and Employment stated that the approval rate for Irish work permits was around 91.8% in 2024.

Recent reports show that the maximum number of work permits was issued to health and social care workers followed by the workers from the information and communication sector.
