Two immigration programs in New Zealand that were remaining dormant due to the COVID-19 pandemic are now getting restarted. These immigration programs to migrate to New Zealand are the following:
The announcement to this effect was made by New Zealand’s immigration minister, Michael Wood. These visa streams that were suspended during the height of the COVID pandemic will restart in mid-November.
The Skilled Migrant Visa is meant for those who possess skills considered contributory to the economic growth of New Zealand. Before you can apply, you will have to send an EOI (expression of interest) to the immigration authorities of New Zealand. The EOI must have the details of your qualifications and work experience.

The maximum age for being eligible for this visa is 55. You can live in New Zealand indefinitely using this visa.
The newly implemented requirements for the Skilled Migrant Visa will be applicable only to EOIs that immigration authorities receive from October 12, 2022.
