In a recent announcement, the prestigious King’s College London has extended its invitation to apply for the Vice Chancellor’s awards, especially to Indian students. The award offers a postgraduate fee waiver of around £10,000 (nearly Rs.11.26 lakh) for eligible Indian students.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shitij Kapur, stated that the award is particularly beneficial to Indian students as it aims to create a broader impact in society. The King’s College London was among the first colleges in the UK to offer courses in Sanskrit and Bengali to Indian students.
