New Italian Visa Application Centre in New Delhi

The Ambassador of Italy, Antonio Bartoli, announced the opening of a new Italian visa application center in New Delhi to process a record number of visas from India. Indians can now apply for an Italian Schengen visa from the new visa application center in New Delhi.

The new visa application center was inaugurated in the presence of the Italian Ambassador and representatives of the Ministry of External Affairs of India. The Italian Ambassador expressed his gladness at the inauguration of a visa application center exclusively dedicated to Italian visas.

Increased Demand for Italian Visas from Indians

According to recent reports, there has been an increased demand for Italian visas from Indian nationals. The Italian Embassy of New Delhi and Consulate Generals in Mumbai and Kolkata processed around 91,600 visas in 2023.

As of the first quarter of 2024, the Consulate General of Italy in Bangalore reported a 28% increase in demand for Italian visas. Around 54,200 visas have already been processed, and the Italian embassy is willing to process 100,000 visa applications from Indians by 2024.
