The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, has announced about the creation of a new task force that will include a large group of federal ministers. The new task force will take care about the delays in the government services, which are related to passports, immigration application processing, and airports.
The task force will focus on the gaps in these services. It will also provide the strategies to deal with these issues and improving the processes so that candidates can migrate to Canada easily.
The task force will give priority to the processing of the immigration applications. It will look after the areas where an action has to be taken. The goal of creating the task force is to provide short-term and long-term solutions so that backlog can be cleared and speed and quality of the services can be improved.
