According to a recent announcement, the application process for Newfoundland and Labrador PNP has undergone a change. Candidates applying for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) will now have to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).
The province will review the EOIs received and send Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to selected candidates, following which they can apply to the province and receive Canada PR upon eligibility. Candidates whose EOIs were not shortlisted would be sent back to the EOI pool.

The new EOI model involves a two-step process for PNP applicants. Candidates must submit a short form with details of their qualifications including their:
After the submission, the provincial government will review the EOI and send Invitation to Apply (ITAs) to selected candidates. The processing times for new applications might increase to 3 months while the change is being implemented. Canada PR applications via the AIP would be directly processed by the federal government.
