The province of Ontario in Canada has held its latest draw under the Provincial Nominee Program [PNP] of Canada.
On March 2, 2021, a total of 754 invitations – referred to as Notifications of Interest [NOIs] – have been issued by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program [OINP].
The invitations issued went to candidates eligible for the Human Capital Priorities [HCP] stream of the OINP.
The OINP regularly searches the federal Express Entry pool to find candidates that might be meeting the criteria of any of the OINP’s Express Entry immigration streams. These OINP streams are – · Human Capital Priorities [HCP] · French-Speaking Skilled Worker [FSSW] · Skilled Trades [ST] Of these, the HCP stream provides foreign workers with the needed skilled work experience, education, and language abilities the opportunity for applying to work and live in Ontario on a permanent basis. If identified by the OINP in the Express Entry pool, an NOI will be sent to the candidate in their Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada [IRCC] online account. Those receiving an NOI from the OINP will be required to submit an online application within 45 days of receiving the NOI. |
In the latest OINP draw held on March 2, 2021, the OINP “issued targeted notifications of interest” to candidates that might qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry HCP stream.
