Ontario conducted the first Express Entry-linked draw of 2020 on 9th January issuing 242 invitations. These invitations were issued under the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream.

About the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream
The French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream permits the OINP to invite candidates from the Express Entry Pool who meet the eligibility requirements of the stream.
Among other eligibility criteria, candidates should be skilled in the French language. They have to demonstrate their French proficiency by scoring at least a CLB 7 or higher in an eligible French language test. They should also be able to understand, speak, read and write English at a minimum CLB 6 level or higher.
The candidates who were invited in the 9th January draw had a CRS score ranging between 433 and 472. Obtaining a provincial nomination will help them add 600 more points to their CRS score.
To be eligible for a nomination through the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream, you must first be eligible to enter the Express Entry Pool.
