PEI Canada offers more Canada PR ITAs via PN

Prince Edward Island has issued new Express Entry Canada PR ITAs via Provincial Nomination in the latest draw held on 19 July. This is in the Business impact, Labor Impact, and Express Entry categories. PEI Canada had offered a total of 125 ITAs, as quoted by the CIC News.

75 ITAs were offered in the categories Labor Impact and Express Entry categories. The candidates in the Business Impact Category were offered 50 Canada PR ITAs via PN.

The breakdown of the ITAs offered to the candidates in the Express Entry category was not revealed by the Office of Immigration of PEI. It also did not offer any details of the candidates who received the invites. This includes their employment status in PEI.

Candidates in the Business Impact Category who received the invites had a minimum ceiling of points at 135. Points are awarded to candidates in the PEI immigration categories through distinctive point’s grid. These are linked to the immigration system based on EOI- Expression of Interest.

Aspiring immigrants who intend to migrate to PEI must first create an EOI profile and submit it. The applicants are awarded a score based on answers that were submitted when the profile was created.

Federal Express Entry candidates who are nominated by a PEI Canada will receive extra 600 CRS points. This means they are in a comfortable position to receive a Canada PR ITA.
