UK visit visa applications to be processed within 15 days

United Kingdom will process the UK visit visa within 15 days. Priority visas will be processed within 5 days. Traveling to the UK has boosted after the pandemic which has increased the immigration backlog. Because of this, students, workers, and tourists have to plan again for their travel.

Now the UK has planned to process visit visas within 15 days. Slots for students will also be opened in January 2023. According to the UK Immigration Statistics, around 118,000 student visas were granted to Indian nationals in the FY 2021-2022 to study in UK.

Visit visas were issued to 258,000 Indian nationals. This was a 630 percent increase in comparison to the previous year. Indian nationals also received around 103,000 work visas in which invitations were issued to the following:

• Skilled workers
• Seasonal workers

The work visa invitations were increased by 148 percent.
