PNP BC has offered 405 invitations for Canada PR via PN to Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration candidates. This was through the Provincial Nominee Program British Columbia invitation round held on 8 August.
The successful nomination under the Provincial Nominee Program British Columbia offers 600 extra points towards their CRS scores. This is under the International Graduate and Skilled Worker categories of Express Entry BC.
The Canada PR applications of candidates who receive a nomination from British Columbia will have separate processing of their applications. This will be outside the Express Entry system. It is applicable to the Skills Immigration Stream categories of the PNP BC.
Normally, candidates applying for Canada PR under PNP BC need a job offer. This must be full-time, indeterminate and from an employer in the province. Nevertheless, candidates applying under PNP BC Tech Pilot need a 1-year job offer. This must be any one of the 29 occupations, as quoted by the CIC News.
An online profile must first be created by individuals inclined to apply for Canada PR under Skills Immigration. This is by using the online system of the PNP BC. They must also submit a complete registration form.
The profiles of the applicants are then assessed and awarded scores. This is based on diverse factors such as work experience, age, education and other factors.
