On April 29, 2021, the province of Quebec in Canada held its latest round of invitations through the Arrima Expression of Interest System.
This is the third Arrima draw to be held by Quebec in 2021 so far. The previous Arrima draws this year were held on March 30, and January 26. Unlike the other 9 Canadian provinces, Quebec is not a part of the Provincial Nominee Program [PNP]. As per the Canada-Quebec Accord, Quebec has its own immigration program for the induction of newcomers into the province.
In latest April 29 Arrima draw, 83 Canada immigration hopefuls were issued invitations to apply for their Canadian permanent selection through Quebec. |
Candidates were invited by the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration [MIFI] under the Regular Skilled Worker Program [RSWP] that had filed an Expression of Interest [EOI] profile in Arrima portal. Arrima is Quebec’s online registration portal. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RELATED

The Arrima Portal of Quebec allows for “a better alignment between immigration and the needs of Quebec’s labour market”.
With the latest round of invitations, Quebec has invited a total of 386 candidates so far altogether in the three Arrima draws held so far in 2021.
For 2021, Quebec aims at issuing up to 31,200 Quebec Selection Certificates, also referred to as CSQs for Certificat de Selection du Quebec. Canada, on the other hand, has an immigration target of 401,000 newcomers for 2021.
