As per an announcement by Saskatchewan, 252 immigration candidates have been issued invitations, in a May 28 draw, to apply for being provincially nominated by Saskatchewan for Canada permanent residence.

The latest draw by the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program [SINP] invited 252 candidates in total – Occupations In-Demand: 125 and International Skilled Worker: 127.

Immigration candidates that received invitations in the May 28 draw had work experience in any of the 44 in-demand occupations.

This is the first Express Entry-linked SINP draw since the COVID-19 special measures were put in place by Canada. The previously held March 26 draw was for Occupations In-Demand candidates only.

Immigration candidates were required to have submitted their Expression of Interest [EOI] profiles with the SINP in order to be invited in this draw.

It is through the EOI system that candidates are assessed on 5 factors – education, age, work experience, language ability, and connections to Saskatchewan – and allotted a score out of 100 on the SINP Points Assessment Grid.

The minimum score requirements in the SINP draw on May 28 was 78 for both of the sub-categories.
